How your system works

The diagram below shows a very basic septic system. These systems can still be used depending on the soil at your property. Due to more strict environmental requirements, most new systems require pressure dosing, and sand filters under the leach field. We can install them all.

The system you see below is a traditional style "rock and pipe" system that is pressure dosed. Meaning that when the septic tank receives a certain amount of sewage, the pump will send it to through the perforated pipes in the crushed rock shown below. The sewage will then slowly leach into the ground.

Our work

The system below is using a pressure dosed sand filter system. These are very common in the Rocky Mountain region.

The system below uses a more common type of sewage distribution method. The black chambers you see are called infiltrator chambers. These are light, and install quickly. These infiltrators are used in a wide variety of applications.

City Water and Sewer

Your property may be close to city water and sewer infrastructure. We can do that too.

Septic Tanks

The size of your septic tank will vary depending on the amount of bedrooms in your home. Also the interior components can vary. Your engineer will specify the correct tank for you.

Bedding

This is a step some might skip. However we do not. Bedding is the process of adding sand to the bottom of a pit or trench to create a soft area for your underground components.

Backfill and Grading

Grading is very important to make sure your leach field will not take on unnecessary water from rain or drainage.
